I just got tein SS coilovers and I installed them on my S13 last week and now i think i have a problem...? When I adjust the dampers from level 1 or level 16.. it feels exactly the same... is something wrong with them? Either way it's stiff as hell.... My mechanic that sold them to me told me that maybe my car's lowered too low and the shocks are bottoming out but I doubt it because I set them at the factory specs according to the instruction manual... any thoughts? and now my rear drivers side strut is making this clunking noise... this happen to anyone?!? They handle great but i can't seem to adjust the damers no matter what i click them to and they clunk.

im not sure as i have no experience with tein shocks yet but...

the race team i am involved with uses penske adjustables which from my ****ing around with them i have found to be just about the most orgasmic shock i have yet encountered, but we found one time one was performing very similar to yours almost liek the chock was completely locked...turns out that someone had zeroed the shock to full stiff instead of full hard and the penske didn't have the mechincal stop (or not a strongenough one at leat) at the full stiff. it overrode and disconnected from the adjustment mechanism but it would still click. some dissambly resetting and reassembly later all was as good as new not sure if that helps just a little personal experience
