hey guys whats up? I just bought an 06 4door g with the MT sportspackage. Now i'm used to dropped cars and I really what to drop mine. Ive looked around and it seems the lowest Tein Springs go is 2" in the front and .9" in the back. Is there any other spring if not tein that will give me 2" in the front and atlest 1.5" in the back?

thanks guys.

I'm not really sure. I thought there was a 2" for the back available also.

Well the probably with the drop that drastic, you are going to have some serious alignment issues as far as camber goes and you will not be able to get them back to the specs you need. You would have to buy $400 adjustable a arms for the front and $200 kit for the rear. Definately not worth it in my opinion. I have been looking at either some oem 350z springs from an 03/early 04 model or coupe springs from a coupe with oem 17 or 18" wheels. Reason being for the years I choose for the z spring, is because in 04.5 to now, the z spring rate changed in the rear. If you have a sport tuned suspension, the early z spring rate is identical to yours and you can use your shocks. If not you have to run the 04.5 up z shocks, they are revised and better than the old ones. Z springs give a 1" drop. Now if you go with the coupe springs, they are the same spring rate as sport suspension sedans as well, as long as you dont use ones from an 05 coupe that came with 19" wheels. Must be from a coupe with 17" or 18" wheels. They give the car a .5" drop, some have stated more like .6" in front and .8" in rear.

Using either of those two springs, you need to have the car aligned using coupe specs.

Here are the camber specs for each car: FRONT Sedan: -.83 Coupe: -.1.25 350z: -1.33

REARSedan: -1.08Coupe:-1.75 350z:-2.08

Someone who did the z setup posted that his front alignment with z springs was -1.1/-1.4 in the front and the rear was -1.3. So with those numbers you can see the car can be aligned back so that you don't eat the hell out of the inside of your tires.

The moral to this story, you don't want a drop of more than a inch front/rear. Unless you want to spend an additional $600 to get keep from eating up tires. So looks like somebody better go back to the drawing board.
