tein springs/kyb struts

i wanna ask this in here cuz the tire/wheel/suspen. forum is kinda slow, so... i'm gonna get new shocks/spring, and i'm thinking about kyb agx's with tein type-s springs. pro's or con's? what do you guys think? my car is a fairly stock '91 s13. thx.

Same car and I am looking at getting the same setup. The Tein Springs are a lot cheaper then the Eibachs. I would like to know to if anybody is running the same setup.

I just finished installing mine yesterday. Of course, my car doesn't run yet, so I haven't driven it ;) but I'll let you know when I do.

Ride height looks nice tho.

i've had that setup for about a year (but i have stbs and sways too)i like it. i have the agx's set at 1/7

hey i have the same setup! i'd prefer agx's..but gr2s came on the car so..blah. feels much better huh??!

well as long as your not gonna do some hardcore drifting (once everyday) or pushing touge racing, then i'd say go for it. but if you get coilovers (which i would say you should do) they'll be better in the long run and plus you'll have a lot more options to have (ie lowering, dampening, etc.) Try those D2 Coilovers they're offering here on NICO

as you can see from bULLETdrift, there is still some wheel gap. For those people who don't like gaps, coilovers can be adjusted to make that gap smaller. plus you can overhaul coilovers.
