Any pictures, comments about them?

Why not just buy them? It seems to me they can be found new for pretty cheap.

AZHitman used to run S-techs with some GR-2's on his 'vert. He's had nothing but positive things to say about them.

There are lots of pics of that 'vert on this website, and most of them are when those springs were installed.

He ran them for well over a year, I believe, with no problems of any kind.

I had the same setup on my old coupe s-tech and gr2. great ride...just becareful when you buy them to either get USDM or JDM spec springs, depending on what motor you have. If you don't , it won't look right at all!

This is the best shot I have. I currently run the AGX & Tein S-Tech Setup for my car. It rides like a champ. My car is my daily driver, so when I am going around town I have it dialed to 1 and when I want to ride it harder and have some fun I dial it to a 3 and 5. They are one of the best things I have done to my car.

Here is what they look like on my car.

The pics are not doing any justice at all...the s-tech deff lowers the car alot. This is a pic of the coupe I am selling that has the gr2 and s-tech in them. big differance to that and your stock height.

Guys Tein S-techs are only a 1.5" drop, its not enough to be huge, the pics are exactly what they did to it. Look at the before and the distance from the wheel well to the tire then look at the after, its not a huge change granted, but its only 1.5"

Its not like its dropped 2-3 inches and the wheel well will cover over the tire. IMO the 1.5" drop is the best drop for street and daily use. Even with that drop, I still scrape speed bumps in my complex.

And JSPEC you took the picture looking down at the car, at that angle its going to LOOK like a larger drop than it is, that is why I took my pics straight on, if i stood up over the car, I can make it look like its a 2-3" drop also. The Straight on shots are the ones that aren't deceiving, yours is very deceiving.

that may be very true....but first off i was not bashing your pics, please dont take it that way. I was merely giving another look of the S chassie with the same spring/strut combo. Your pics are alot darker around the wheel well area and not easy to tell the difference.

and as I stated before, if you decide to buy the s-tech, make sure you buy the correct ones...and if you plan on doing a motor swap, ie sr20, the usdm spring will look like poop cause the spring rates are different.

JSPEC - not at all man, tone just doesn't come out on forums, i know you weren't and I agree they are kind of dark - but lightening them up just felt wrong b/c then the pic looks like ***. Unfortunately its going to look different on different monitors and it made me nervous so many guys on here shoot pics of their springs and it looks alot more dropped than it really is, and I don't want ppl to get the wrong idea about the S-Tech.

They are good for daily drivers and cars you want to have fun with, but for a straight track car, you need to get coilovers only. But AGX with S-Tech are perfect for street at an incredible price you cant beat the bang for buck value of them at all.

I'm using Tein S-tech/ KYB AGX combo and love it. Although definately not as kickass as say Stance GR coilovers, the Tein/KYB combo is great for driving on low quality Oklahoma highways.

I'm just afraid that after I ditch my KA the front ride height will be affected

lol 4/8, uhm... i take it your roads where you live are made to formula 1 specifications lmao.

I run 2/4 right now but ive ran it before at 3/6, but since i started driving around toronto more often and started cursing more often, i turned it back down to 2/4... i do desire to run it at 3/6 again but alas... i've never tried 4/8 though.

LMAO!!!! I did the EXACT same thing when we were lowering mine down!

I am sure the AGX & S-Tech is the perfect setup for street and beginning track

If I were doing hardcore drifting and heavy track though I would move to coilovers, but they are too rough if the car is your daily driver - i wouldn't do that for a daily unless you want to lose your teeth. Tracks are better maintained than regular roads and coilovers and a pothole SUK BAD!

If I turn my car into a complete track car, then I will switch to coilovers

I had S-Techs until just last week when I installed Buddy Club Racing Spec coilovers. I really liked the Teins and the price was fantastic. Got mine through Enjuku.

Some of my pics:

And with coilovers:

If you want them to go low, don't buy them. You will probably want coilovers later on...like me.

I had s-techs but didn't like the height with 18" wheels.

i dont live on roads made to formula 1 specifications lol. i live in socal. i just avoid bad roads at all costs.

used to run on 2/4 and i didnt like it, so i went to 3/7. but i went to 4/8 and felt a lot better. not harsh at all, compared to coilovers
