Just posted that i was looking for Espelir Springs for my 2008 M35x. Then saw ur post. Will these fit and does anyone know the differances between these Tein S-Techs and Espelir?

yes, these will work.

We have installed these S-Techs and the Eibachs on AWD Ms. The AWD drive M sits higher stock than the base and sport models so the S-Techs will get you roughly the same ride height as the H-Techs on a sport model.

In the end, I prefer coilovers than lowering springs...better balance and all around solution, but much more costly.

How does the ride quality compare to stock Sport springs?

It is actually a better ride than either the AWD or the sport...about the same as the base. I am comparing from memory so there is some percent error with that. The comparison were made on a single drive usually (after install heading to alignment) before handing back to customer.
