hey everyone, i'm looking to buy some Tein S-Tech springs and KYB AGX adjustable shocks

as of now, i've looked at enjukuracing.com, the only place that carries both for my S14 240sx...

they are wanting to charge me $589.98 plus shipping and handling...is that a good deal? does anyone know a better place to order from?

jsut and advise.... the stech are made good enough to work with stock springs... so the AGX adj.. arent really necesary unless you are doing track stuff which you want to utilizes the most out of ur suspension....

i would suggest getting gr2's which are 207 to ur door from summit... also call up different stores and see if they price match.... and if you go to http://www.optauto.com i think they are about 140.... and call another place see if they can match that price.... so you get the most for ur money.....

being ajustable is good, i have em and i like the daily driving quality, and when you go to the track, you just turn em up to where you want them.

damn i just finished installing Tein S techs and Kyb AGX on my car (S13) on monday. The drop is right were i want it to be, not too low. The handling is freakin' badass. I have the shocks at 2/4 front and 4/8 back. I got the springs for 150 and shocks for 400. Enjuku is 20 minutes from me :D

The set up is nice for daily driving to some agressive driving. Later on i will upgrade to Tein HE's.

yeah go agx's, after i put mine in i swore i'd never go back to non-adjustable. i have mine on 2 front/7 rear for daily driving (what? am i insane?? ahah)

only thing i don't like about the setup is green springs on red struts. ewww. luckily you can't see em to well with my stock alloys on.

yeah its kinda festive dont you think? Come Christmas time, ill be ready:D

Wow 7 in the rear, most ive gone in the rear is 5. I was having some fitment issues so i set it back to 4 until i fixed it. Im going to try them on the lowest setting and the highest setting once the springs and shocks are "broken in"

ground to fender in the front is 25-1/4". i measured my friend's and stock his is 27-3/8" but i think he's got one with the lift kit on it :D. the s.techs dropped mine just under 2"

maine: fronts are 4 way adjustable, rears are 8 way, so 4 front/8 rear (or just 4/8 for short) is the hardest setting

Mine dropped like a 1" so far, i have low profile tires 205-50-15 so it still looks high to me. But the ride height is right where i want it, not too low. Plus when i upgrade to bigger wheels and tires, the extra wheel gap will dissapear.

yup it does, bigger wheels and a much higher profile like = less fender gap. My friends 340 with 205-55-15 looks lower because of the extra sidewall.

Put low profile tires on a pick up truck and see how that wheel gap appears.
