im having some issues with reciving mine in............. What did you do for a front alignment? Take some measurements and "eyeballed" it back to those measurements for your toe? or did you get an front alignment?

I am not a drifter and will never drift my car, but what I'd like to know is did it improve the steering "feeling" ? (I guess you understand, don't know how to describe it)

SPL uses z32 rods, which are thincker, im not sure if you have to use their ends or if other s chassis ends fit on z32 rods. Tein rods are basically gold s14 rods though, but i got a good deal on mine, about the same as stock s14 rods so it doesnt matter, i like them.

how did it go??...freakin great!!!

them tokico's are exactly what i needed, perfect for me.

BUT, the REAL suprise were the TEIN tie rod and tie rod end's..

just when you thought you were gonna loose it, TEIN was there to save you *** with sooooooo much more steering angle.

wow, i was really suprised on what a difference they made.

i recommend rod's and end's to anybody who's serious about drifting.

Yea I love mine, you get 15% more steering angle. If you car is low then make sure to watch the splash guards above the tire and make sure it isn't rubbing. Theres a lot of wiring going through that section.

Then you need to space the wheels out farther, aka lower offset wheels or smaller tires. The tein inners are same diameter as S14 inners so outers for both S13 and S14 are the stock S14 thread size. The ends really are not that good, just a rubber ball joint like stock, spl, jic and kazama ends are much better and offer length adjustment for bumpsteer tuning on lowered cars. The tein inners seem ok, I havent bent one yet with serveral events on the same set.

thats with stock 7spoke alloys and 195 60 15s up front. the car has alot of turning radius already . i couldnt see the use in much more

the purpose for the extra steering angle is for drifting, being that this is the drift forum. Grip driving stock should be fine, although when you lower your car a lot, the spl ends should be used to correct bumpsteer.

Do you really rub the frame with your wheels/tires? Ive never heard of that problem, maybe youre rubbing the fender liner? Even with stock wheels, its shouldnt rub the frame, they never would have made a car that would rub itself, maybe your car is broken?

^^ right i had to do all that stuff, 17X9 +20, 215/45/17, but man, on stock wheels? I dont believe hes rubbing anything other than the inner fender liner.
