I dont know if this is old news but damn....finally!! Whoever lives near them, hit them up man. Lets get this R&D rolling so we can finally get some Teins.

R&D is in process. They've already used my car for measurements and what not. Just waiting patiently till they call me back for fitment. They told me they'll work on h and s tech springs, and maybe basic or super street coilovers. I'll keep you guys updated. They used my car last month, we'll see what happens.

Damn, I'ld actually do this as I have the 2.5 but it says you have to have stock suspension. I already have the pro-kit.

didnt notice that, guess they are looking for a 2.5, since they used my 3.5. i doubt your prokit is a problem. when i lended them my car, i told them i had the prokit, they said its fine. They just made me bring down my stock springs.

tein is an awesome company in my opinion. I emailed them about a year ago and expressed interest in coil overs for the coupe and they told me to wait a year and if a/c sales are right and the market is right that they'll make springs and coil overs for the coupe. i also called them in march when my car was undergoing turbo prototyping and expressed interest and they sent me a box full of stuff. decals, t-shirts, keychain, hats, seat belt pads. i already have the eibach's and would prefer the tein ss coil overs, but would swap out the eibachs for tein springs if that's the only option. can't wait and thank you to the people that made their cars available for R&D.

Well, they had my car for a week. I dropped it off monday morning, and then picked it up friday afternoon. They were actually done on thursday. From what Tein has told me, they will develop H and S tech springs, and possibly their basic or super street coilovers.

ok, well here is an update. I thought I would be back in sooner for a test fit, but no call back so far, so I decided to give them a call. As of right now, they have the SE-R, 3.5 and 2.5 in progress. They said to give it another month for a test fit. As far as the real delay, its due to the G37 in my opinion. They have 3 altimas, and a G37 that they're working on, obviously the G's market will be priority. Let's be patient.

yeap, 3rd gen se-r sedan, should've been specific. Tein has their hands full, i stated earlier all the nissan/infiniti cars that they're currently working on, they working on the new Sti's, and for some odd reason the 04's last time i was down there.

well i submitted an app about two weeks ago... and they got back to me today. i will be dropping my car off sometime at the end of october for standard measurements... and then approximately 2-3 months following, they will test-fit prototype springs.

Seems Tein is hopping on the nissan bus. Better late than never I guess. So now their workin on both 3.5 coupe and sedans, 2.5 coupe, se-r, and g37. Seems like a handful.

OK, well I dont know what happened with Octopussi's 2.5 coupe. I talked with John from Tein yesterday and he said they still needed a 2.5 coupe to come in, they want to release both for the 2.5 and 3.5 around the same time I guess.

Anyone with a 2.5 hit Tein up and drop off your ride!

I couldn't make it... I just got back from Atlanta yesterday mornin... I'mma try to set up another appointment after I drop my car off at the dealer next week for the caliper "service bulletin" upgrade and for them to replace my leather steerin wheel cuz its peelin... also, tein doesn't offer, or promise, much incentive to leave your car there lol not even a discount lol
