performance bar? you may not find any info on it because it doesn't exist. i've never heard of one. what is it supposed to do? maybe you're using the wrong name for another part.

Yeah, "performance bar" is a new one on me too. Maybe it's like the JDM Powerbar?

(Also, do you mean the Nismo Powerbrace?)

There are three choices for Strut Bars.

Carbing - Because they aren't hinged so you won't have trapezoid party.

Tomei - They're hinged... but its triangulated so it gets a pass.

Ebay - Because spending 200$ on a hinged strutbar thats for sale elsewhere for 50$ is retarded.

DC makes a non hinge strut bar for s13/14. I have it on my s14 and I think it's a must do mod on the s14/13. Fitment was good and handling feel is much improved.

But it you have to have the name Tein then you have to wait.

I saw both S14 front and rear Tein strut bars for sale by PerformanceNissanParts.com. Unfortunately they stopped selling them I guess. They looked nice and beefy though.

Nevermind, I just found them. http://projectnissan.com/shopp...ze=20

What do you guys think? Looks quite decent for the price.

When you purchase it, I think it puts you on the waiting list. So they aren't officially out yet.

EDFC compatible

I would rather prefer the dc sports strut bar, it look a hell of alot more beefier and its around the same price as the tein bar. If it were me I would buy a $15 ebay bar before dropping $125 on that tein bar

Did your rice brain filter out everything said in this thread about hinged strut bars not being worth 120$?

Tein is a suckass company. They overcharge for trashcan parts and people eat it up because of "ZOMG EDFC"

1600$ for twin tube, non inverted struts. SIGN ME UP DAWG THEYZ GREEN!

Get on the bay and buy a DC Sports or 20$ Hinged Bar or something.

dcsports is the best bang for the buck strut bar

then again strut bar is probably the most overly done useless mod in the book

Well people do buy these expensive strut bars for a reason obviously. I've heard of ebay bars breaking, along with ebay rucas. Cusco struts are even more expensive. But I understand what your getting at, it seems like people are buying the name rather than the product these days....

where has a strut bar been broken? your windshield will crack to hell before chassis flex breaks a strut bar.

Woops, did I say broken? I meant bent, or flexed in any way. Perhaps I was getting carried away with my "rice brain". Anyways, are there any drifters out there using an ebay strut bar? If there are then I'd like to know which one(s) they are using.

Just to give you a little hint, most "drifters" spend there money on better things than useless strut bars. Unless you run into one of those bandwagon drifters who buy **** just because it comes from japan therefore = jdm tyte
