alright my friend has a 92 mr2 turbo with some tein basic coilovers he got not too long ago. he has been riding around with them set at around half way on the lower/higher setting. he says the ride is terrible because the lower the car is the less suspension travel there is when hitting bumps ect. so it creates a rough ride.

He recently saw some Ksport Kontrol Pro coilovers on a mr2oc.com and there was a big arguement about them. they claim to no matter what setting you have your coilovers at (ride height) that they allow the same suspension travel. This in turn resulted in a lot smoother ride. The guy claiming these results had previously owned the tein basic coilovers and not contested to never buy them again and stick with the ksports

any opinions, comments, concerns, or expierences with these are greatly appreciated.

uh that doesn't make any sense at all. plus if you lowered your car you don't want the same amount of suspension travel because you'll mess up the bottom of your car..

tein basics dont have adjustment for ride height without changing spring rate. ksports prob did which is what made the ride better. i think

yep pretty much. if your in the market for coilovers chances are improved ride quality isnt your goal. The k-sports do have an independant ride height setting which is nice, but any coilover at a lower ride height setting will have less stroke than the same one at a high setting. if you still want a good ride AND coilovers go for a lower spring rate. but that would almost be defeating the purpose. personally, i would go with the k-sports
