i think he wanted to know about the S-Techs since he mentioned springs, and not coilovers.

Tein S-Tech Springs (if that is what you wanted to see) lower the height of the car 1.2 in the rear and 0.8 in the front IIRC.

Pics will be up as soon as photobucket is up.

Im pretty sure that answer was a joke considering the only way you could get more common then tein on a 240 would be if it had FN's...

for the love of god use the search button, its large and blinking.

Tein S-Tech springs/ KYB AGX Struts

Will probably be replacing these soon in favor of Stance GR+ Pros.

Search next time. I have tean springs on my girls car and I don't like them at all. Not lowered enough, ride is to soft and that's with KYB's AGX Don't do it, save extra $40-60 and buy eibach springs or other brands but not tein.

I'll post pictures later if I have time. Anyways it looks stock!

Red coupe, you're going to love oh-so-typical 240. Here it is complete with Tein S-Techs and bronze FN01RC wheels and Tein sticker.

I guess I'm the posterchild for fanbois.

Yea, don't get Tein coilovers either. There are several brands out there that have been known to perform better, and if you search on NICO you'll find that Tein isn't quite as awesome as their reputation makes them sound.

Here's the deal with Eibach springs. The Prokit doesn't lower them much at all, the sportline springs lower the car way to much, throwing off suspension geometry.

Personally, if you are looking for a drop and performance without buying coilovers you should look at RSR springs or Suspension Technique. I think that both have a linear spring rate compared to Tein's progressive rate.

If you decide to save and get coilovers I would go with KTS or Stance, MR coilovers are used by many NICO members and seem to hold up great for their low price.

If you're really looking for an improvement in handling get some decent tires!

Good lord you guys, not everyone can pop $900+ for coilovers and not everyone wants to be slammed to the ground. The OP may want to be lower than the S-Techs go, but not necessarily skimming the ground. If you want aggressive lowering with just springs, you can get the Eibach Sportline but you'll have to install a camber correction kit to maintain a proper alignment. Now, these are not the best springs from a performance standpoint, but they will give you the look you want if you just want to look good and be low.

I had Intrax springs on my first 240 (the green coupe in my sig) and I liked those quite a bit.

I got some el-cheapo MaxSpeed springs off ebay with some kyb AGX and it dropped it about 1.5" front and rear. Looks good. Rides nice. Definately noticeable but not scraping anything......

Tien Springs came with my car, bought AHX's and installed them

I hated everything about them. Opted for a set of intrax's I got on sale,

They were nice and stiff, but just not low enough and not adjustable. I bought coilovers and now I'm a little happier. Not expensive ones, but better than spring/shock setup.
