Hey William, thanks for checking out our post. We could go on and on, explaining the benefits of suspension tuning, but a simple approach to answer your question is basically this: by lowering a vehicle, the vehicle's center of gravity is lowered (not to mention, a bit of style points added as well). If done right with the proper spring/ shock set up, this will increase vehicle stability/ handling and control, under acceleration, deceleration, turn in and turn out.
If your car is just a daily driver, a set of lowering springs that are designed to work with the OEM shock , like the TEIN S-tech, will suffice. There are also many other brands out there who test their spring with the OEM shock. This will ensure the best ride quality if you still have your OEM shocks. A basic, entry level coil-over, like the TEIN Basic, is also a great alternative, if you are looking to replace your shocks.
Again, there is just so much to discuss about suspension tuning. Most important to remember, every person/ driver is different and has different suspension wants/needs. If you would like more information on which type of suspension would work best for you, feel free to drop us a PM.
Thanks again
