They noted that the Type-HE suspension is for sideways racers. Hahahaha.... whats the difference with this one

Actually, there is a very large difference between the HE's and the HA's. The HE's have a fully threaded damper body, the HA's don't. The HE's have a larger diameter damper body than the HA's therefore giving more damping capability. The HE's have an adjustable damper mounting perch, the HA's don't.The HE's have (and can handle) much higher spring rates than the HA'sHE's come with pillow ball mounts, HA's dont.

I have a set of HE's on my car and I must say that they are freaking awesome, it is nice to be able to adjust ride height with out compromising compression distance.

How much did you pay for them?

Got them from Phase 2 for $1350 shipped.

I think that mvpmotorsports.com has a set for $1360 shipped, at least they did a few days ago.

For what I've heard:

HE can provide great stability in drifts. With HE you can achieve larger oversteer angles. In addition, rebound damper is in general less than those designed for sheer speed purpose.

Yeah, that seems mostly true, but rebound damping isn't exactly "light" or anything. I feel that it has sufficient rebound damping because it doesn't get "snap happy" coming out of turns like it did before I replaced the struts that were on it. Now it recovers quite smoothly with the exception of the bushings unloading.

Would you suggest RE over HE?

That is not a question I can answer because I do not have first hand experience with the RE's. Alls I know is that the HE's are perfect for my needs...

HTS? top of the TOKICO production line.

It s designed for Drifting in mind.

45 adjustments for damper setting.

One of its beauty is " It is a Short Stoke." which you could run short springs like quality coilover setup without running out compression travel......

I would say designed with high performance in mind. It can be used for track racing as well.

Short stroke doesn't necessarily give you more suspension travel. It can if the first thing to bottom out is your shock. But if your spring or any other part of your suspension bottoms out first, then the short stroke won't help.
