I just picked up some tein he's and they have a height adjustable mount. I've installed/used coilovers before but never ones with adjustable mounts.

I'm just curious where would be a good place to start adjusting it from? Should i thread the mount down so it is flush with the bottom of the shock body? Have it up a dozen threads?

Thanks in advance for any help.

i have tein HE's and they came with the factory settings...i just made sure that the setting were accurate and installed them.

i did my height adjustment after...i didn't have to adjust too much to be 25"in the front (ground to fender) and 25.5" inthe back....

Holy cow sr20power, your car looks GOOD. So are the HE's the way to go do you think? I might get an s13 hatch, and would be getting some Tein's. I'm not sure which ones to get though, as I have never researched them...

but if your just cruising around town or maybe some aggressive driving once in awhile, some shock and spring will do nicely

because there's a difference in $'s.....so do some research before you start to invest...

I need to research, and I have the spring/shock deal right now, which is good, but I have wanted some coilovers for a while. I thought about getting coilovers in place of my current suspension setup, but if you advice is correct, I may just stay with what I have.
