Can somebody confirm that the Tein H-Tech springs for the M35 will also fit on a M45? I just want to make sure it does before I order a set from Ebay.

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

This may be a silly question but dont you need to get springs specific for M45 or M35 due to different weight of the engine?

I think some companies make specific M35/M45 versions, not all do though. It will make a bit of a difference and the front will be lower than the specs say when used with an M45. The VQ35DE engine weighs 142 kilograms, the VK45DE weighs 236.5 kilograms.

I believe the H Tech's have spring rates of 7kg/mm in front and 9.2kg/mm in back? If so, that means that the front should sit somewhere around a 1/2" lower on the M45 compared to an M35. 13.5mm to be exact but I am going to round down a bit and call it a 1/2 inch.

you'll have about a 1 finger gap on all 4 corners.

I have a set sitting in a box for about 2yrs now as my back-up springs.
