I know there are some posts about tein coils but feel I can get better answers if I ask. I've heard good but want input.
Here's what I'm contemplating on getting. Tein street basis coilovers with the Raceline suspension parts and18" RAY
wheels. If you run them, how do you like the tein coils street basis? It was that or Megans. I'm gonna roll the fenders
and may pull them. If spending money might as well get the best and do it once. Please advise, thanks :)

I have the TEIN Basis. Had them installed for about 2 months now. Haven't had any issues thus, besides some creaking when it has been parked for a while. I have it maxed out front and rear.

Also have the front and rear fenders rolled. There was no rubbing in the front ever. Once the coils settled in the back, the rear tires did rub. Wheels are 18x8.5 +35 with 245/40/18 tires. Smaller tires and I prob would have had no problems. Rolling fenders definitely nice if you want larger tires or upgrade to larger wheels.

These are my first set of coilovers ever, so I can't compare them to any other brand. You can definitely tell it is a major upgrade from the stock setup.

I don't really want bigger wheels due to want I'm going to end up doing. Currently have staggered Z anniversary wheels. They look great. Going to roll fenders to have a sharper look and extra room. Have you had any issues with the tein coils not lowering the car much? I read on some posts about that. Thanks

The coilovers are adjusted to lowest setting in front and rear. Photo in my signature is as low as it will go with that tire size. The only other way to achieve lower ride height now would be negative camber or smaller tires, like 225/40/18. Less rubber, bumpier ride however.

If you want something lower, you may want to research other options. Seems general consensus is BC's will allow you to lower it the most. Think a couple people have the Megan's. Don't know much about them. You can use the search and look up previous posts.

Actually I'm gonna look into Ksport. Read better than megans and can get super low. I'm not looking to slam but I need something low center of gravity with the power I'm gonna be pushing.

I have Tein street basic installed by the shop one month ago. I didn't ask the shop to max out the drop. Mine is 26.5" both front and rear (From center top of fender to the ground). However, I still scrap the bottom sometimes when I get on ramp and curve, especially the plate underneath the engine. It seems that the plate underneath the engine is lower than the bottom of car. I don't think I can raise the front any more since the minimum drop is 1.1" for the front. (Original ride height for front end is 27.5").

Now I just have to drive very carefully... but it does look better

...Is there something all of us 3.5 MT owners need to know about our cars that only you are aware off?
