I have Tein "super drift" coils on the vert, i dont like the ride at the softest damper seting (just too stiff)

A guy i know has the Tein flex coilovers, he claims they are a nice ride.

So, im thinking about trading him, my question is this.

Are the designs that different in the two that his flex coilovers would make that big of a difference, or do i just need to adjust mine another way to help with it .

i just want a bit softer ride and that nice drop. im not racing/drifting the vert so i dont need performance, just adjustable ride height.

The Flex are just fine. They have a softer spring rate, and that's what you want if you want a smoother ride.

When I had a set on my S13 Coupe, I could barely even tell I had coilovers on my car

I also got tein flex on my s14 and they are great. I switched from megan streets 8k/6k to tein flex 6k/5k. Instantly, the ride go a lot more smoother on rough roads and seem to be way better choice for DD.

yeah if i could rethink my decision, i would have definitely gotten the flexs over the SDFs. the ride with SDFs are just too harsh.
