iknow these werent made for ksports. but i needed to replace it (all the threads binded and one was freewheeling, which i had to drill to remove) so i installed these on my ksports, the tiens sits higher than the k's, so i actually had to drop the car more. My question is there any specialized tools to install these. B/C While installing these i encountered a problem trying to seating them down properly. I cant properly tighten it , its difficult to grab on the top thingy so it wont spin when i turn the nut, plus nut is hard to get to with a wrench cause its covered by the cylinder lip. so simple yet its so non- *** -embly freindlyi drove it anyways c/ im retarded, it clunks more than my k's.

btw i also tried to use just the teins top plates with the K's pillowball mounts, it wont line up. <--going insane

i cant sleep, i keep thinking about it, relp

do you have spring compressors to keep the spring from trying to push the top mount off when you are installing them? it might clunk because the top seat isnt low enough. Keep in mind i don't have coilovers, so i dont know if this will apply to you. the other thing is, i didnt tighten that top nut down to spec until the car was off the jackstands and on the ground. otherwise it would just rotate the strut shaft and not the nut itself. So borrow some spring compressors and see if that helps

also, you might not need to install the lower collar in that pic either. I thought that was just for installing the mounts onto oem type suspension and not coilover... but I don't know for certain.

Mount it on the car and use air...works like a charm.
