OK, I picked up the latest issue of Project Car, and Tein has an ad in there that suggests an MSRP of $750 for the Basic Damper Coilovers. Is this what they are going for???

Adrian? Anyone? It just seems unreal that a complete coilover setup by TEIN would go for that kind of price.

Tein Basics... yup for $700. I thought this was common knowlegde, haha.

Just an fyi, they don't come with pillowball camber plates. Which is probably why theyre a bit cheaper... and their spring rates are like 6/6.. which is soft as hell. Its more or less an effective way to lower your car and have comfort for the street.. Just dont expect track-like performance out of them. They're good for daily driving.. but thats about it, imo.

They have on the site saying that the pillow ball plates cost 150 so it would be a combined price tag of 850 which still is not bad for street use

When I was looking for Tein coil overs for my S13 convertible last June/July, NICO site sponsor Everything Nissan had them for $720, IIRC. I don't see them on their site now, but it's worth calling them or West Covina.

kinda thought it was common knowledge that the tein basics were fairly cheap. seen them and the lower end tanabes for as low as 650 shipped over the past 2-3 years..............they aren't a new product at all..............
