so does mine, people have told me its either the phone itself (people have said that LG's just get bad service) or that i need to have a tech guy update the programming. i should take it to verizon today since i have the day off :o

Could be either problem, who knows. I think my problem is the phone. I have Verizon and their service is awesome but for some reason I get terrible service in my house and at school, even when Im outside sometimes I dont get service...very strange. My boyfriend has the same phone and when we're together he always has service and I never do. Stupid phone!

Nice phone - Just the wrong driver. Sorry me and my fiance are both Jeff Gordon fans. We don't dislike Jr. at all, at least not like Newman anyway.

thats wierd... i have almost the same problem. i get pretty good (sometimes full) service ANYWHERE besides my house, or actually my neighborhood in general. once i get on the main road, service goes up. and sometimes, like you said, i'll be outside with no service. thats pretty wierd.

I want a phone with Tsuchiya on it. Or maybe a phone with the Tein mascot. Or Nomuken' mascot. Or something WRC related ...

yeah its a cool phone. I'm not a huge nascar fan either, I do watch it when I can though. Like IvoryJ30t said; it's free. And it has a cf trim that would go great with my car's interior

Supposed to be a good phone but NASCAR is the uber gayness. If only it was just simple and classy with checkered flags or something. Oh well.

I've never been a fan of Motorola phones, not since my Qwest V60. I bought almost every darn accessory for it including the FM radio, but the signal STILL SUCKED! Apparently there was design flaw where the chrome ring screwed up the signal.

On top of that, the user interface is a confusing mess. My friend's (now ex) wife was in charge of the team that put the UI together. They ignored her completely, put together a crappy OS, and so she left the company.

Nice phone, how you feeling about carrying a bright red phone??

I have this

Thinking about getting one of these (phone, not the guy)

Work provides the service, and I can change phones .

I liked my S56, I wish I had never given it up for the SE T616 I got to replace it.

I recently replaced it with a Moto V551 and am pretty happy. It's my first foray back into the flip phone world after about 3 years. I've been using Candy-bar style phones since I gave up my Moto Vader phone years ago.

not bad, its certainly a change because I'm used to having everything black and/or gray.

I'm thinking of getting this wireless headset too... JABRA® FreespeakTM Wireless HeadsetNow only $149.99. Save $30 off the retail price.

Be sure you get the BT250 if you do, and not the 200 model.

The 250 kicks ***. I have that one. Used it with my S56, T616, and now my V551.

I love it. It's better than any car kit for sure.

I miss my StarTac.

THAT was a great phone, almost as good as my old Motoroa brick (with the briefcase battery pack) from back in the day...

I refuse to get one of these damn things. I'm with you Hitman... I had a "car" phone back in the good 'ol days. Yup... that's right... it was INSTALLED in my truck... big handset and receiver under the dash... all kinds of wiring everywhere..... big computer chunk behind the seat... it was HUGE! I also paid over $90 per month to have the darn thing. There was no such thing as "free" minutes back then. After I got done with my three year contract I never wanted one again.

I don't know how many people I know that swear they can't live without a cell phone. They freak if their battery dies and they can't get to their charger! It's insane. My life is equally hectic as theirs (I would argue it's more so) and I do fine without one.

Rex, get the 6820, you'll love it. I have one, and I don't think I'll be getting another phone for quite a while.

Can I ask, how do you carry yours?

I keep my phone in my pocket or on the desk at work, I've never been one to wear it on my hip. Over the last few years I keep getting smaller phones and this is one of the first flip phones (supported by my carrier) that deosn't have an antenna nub.
