Not drifting sucks. I’ve come to realize that. I feel like a total hard parker nowadays. The kinda dude who has a cool car, but only for looks. I’ll be feeling that way for a long time, considering my drift car got stopped and rejected at the border. Lame.

have the owner of whatever car. drive it over the border, meet him, he gives you the car, you drive him back in another car. then he mails you the paper work. i think it would work assuming the car is driveable. that way the car is in the states then all you half to do is BS your local dmv.

i bought my hatch with no title, and went down to the dmv and said i must have threw it away while cleaning it out. they chack the vin to make sure wasent stolen and poof new title. i know this is nothing like the situation you are in but it shows sometimes there are ways around things.

ok this is a bit out there and maybe a last resort and costly but have you thought of bringing it by boat. ? using private shiping? like find some old guy with a boat u can get a car on and pay him worth his while.

No, the car will be here. It's just a matter of time. It's not the car that's the issue. The owner was going to drive the car from Toronto to Los Angeles, but the border denied him from crossing. Not the car. So I just need to find a shipping company and have the car trucked here.

It's just a matter of time and money that I wasn't prepared to spend on this and do not have at the moment.

I'm not really in a hurry to get the car, so I'm not worried.
