Been having a problem with my 91 DOHC, At first, it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders, and after doin a spark test *pulling out the plug wire* it seemd like Cylinder 1 was not firing, i was sure of it. So i pulled out the INJ. and replaced it even. Tryed to start it up, but wouldnt start. I smelt gas so i did the antiflood, holding the gas down, and cranking for a while... well, it finally started, and it wouldnt idle, had to keep givin it gas to keep it running. Had it run like that for about 1 min. well, now it wont even start... i checkd the dipstick, and i have Fuel in my crankcase oil, it smells like gas... iVe changed the fuel pressure regulator, and that didnt help... all i kno now is, too much gas is being fed into the engine. Cylinders are full of gas, crankcase is full of oil, but compression is still there, AAMOF 120 lbs all the way across.

also, i still need a motor mount.... is it possible that i imagined the 1 cylinder is not firing because the shaking of the engine?

Any help is appreciated, i kno there are a lot of good techs here.

you probably cut / tore the lower injector oring during the replacement of #1 injector. remove number one injector and replace the o-rings. then lube it, and the injector pocket, up really well with some vaseline and carefully reinstall it without damaging the new o-ring.change the engine oil before starting the engine again. if you keep running it with fuel saturated oil, you could damage the engine bearings.
