Technology Package for 08

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Does the 08 have the Distance Control Assist (DCA) in its Technology package?

Assuming you are referring to the ability to set the Cruise Control to stay back 1 of 3 distances form the vehicle in front, then I have a Canadian '08 AWD EX with the techi package and it does have this. It works fairly well unless someone cuts in front of you abrubtly on the highway in which case it reacts quick enough to slow down & increase the gap, but it can take a lot longer to regain speed than would happen if you were in control yourself so the person behind may think you're being a bit over cautious. However if you mean something else then I don't know ... I'm not sure if DCA is the techi name for what I am describing ;-)

The 08 has Intelligent Cruise Control, which stops working below 20 MPH.The 09 has "Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range)" and Distance Control Assist, which works all the way down to a complete stop, and also pushes the gas pedal against your foot to notify you that the car in front is slowing.
