Hey boss,

I replied on the MAX forum too.

Your going to have to buy a single coil pack and just go pack by pack. When you find the right one the lights will stay off. With the pack just failing on start up its not going to be detectable with a multimeter.

I would start at the front and work my way back.

Thanks Jeff! Not a bad idea. Might pick up a front coil this weekend and replace the pass. front. and turn the light off. She heads back to college Sunday. Have already replaced the front middle about a year or so ago.(Rears are different than front.)

Cheap MoFo! What? Is Art School expensive or something? lol.

I'd recommend replacing all of the coils together, but that's just me. As for the multimeter, it's cheap and easy and you may find that there's a severed wire in one of the coils or the coil wires.

loystock's troubleshoot kicks A$$ btw. What an awesome reply!

If you want to be cheap just somehow incorporate JB Weld or Duct Tape into the fix!!

I don't replace parts that are not broke... but thats just me.
