Well, we didn't really start until 1 pm or so....

At 4:30 am the next day, we called it quits, and wrapped it up later in the day.

We probably would have been done sooner, but we ran into every conceiveable setback.... Missing a bolt here and there, this or that part didn't fit, we had a new (but bad) slave cylinder... Stuff like that.

Congrats on the swap Greg! the pics are great, haha

I hear you on about running into problems with parts, I'm still using the bad pressure plate that strano parts sent me as part of my clutch kit. Right before we put it on it was noticed that it had been previously mounted, we are assuming something was wrong with it and it was sent back to strano parts, dumbf**** sent it to me as a "new" part, the holes didnt quite match up and the plate seemed warped or something, ended up drilling the holes larger to make it fit b/c we had no choice, the car had to be done that night... clutch still doesnt feel right. Which reminds me I need to get a new clutch kit...

I'm gonna have to take my S14 over there and get the swap done by the experts.

It's more fun to drive... dropped quite a bit of weight, and it pulls harder in the low end.

It'll be interesting once boost is thrown in the mix...

Lattice on the window....

Well, long story, but we don't live in a "gated community".

About a year or so ago, some neighborhood crackhead got pissed because I caused some "legal entanglements", jimmied my garage window and threw a gallon of black enamel paint all over my Q45.

Ghetto solution - Cost: Nada.

Very nice, Greg. WHat did you used on your garage floor???...I tried painting mine and it didnt came out very nice....Oh and more pics of the babes and ....just kidding...!

PS. you had to cut the pedals to keep the brake and clutch (pedals) from hitting each other???

I recently painted the floor with one of those kits (epoxy garage floor paint)...

Etched / cleaned it with muiriatic acid (not to be played with), rinsed and dried it and rolled it out. Cost about $120 total, and it's holding up great, even to brake fluid and jackstands.

Brake pedal was cut because it's too big (automatic pedal). I trimmed the clutch pedal a tad as well (so the generic pad would fit and to make more room for my big damn feets).

I tried some Rustoleum floor paint and it just dont hold at all against tire tracks, I mean the tires just peels the paint up.....I know tires in Arizona probable get hotter than here....Ill try one of those kits.....thanks

You want to use an epoxy based SEALER, not just paint.

From what you described, I bet you used either and acrylic or latex based paint.
