i was in tears tonight. i was parked next to one of my friends sitting in my car talking to him. i look forward and i see this car backing up torwards me. i tried to yell something but nothing came out. he back into my driver's side fendor and dented it all in. i had a million emotions hit me at once. there is about a square foot of damage on my fender, and my fender only. the guy was one of my friends and he said he would buy me a new one and paint it. i will get pictures of it up soon so you can baske in my pool of sadness. she will be fixed in a week or two.

that sucks. at least he is getting you a new one unlike other people just says 'oh well, we're friends so we're cool'

what sucks is you had to watch it happen! if you need the name to a good shrink, let me know. that **** is traumatic.

i got an estimate and it was $1k. here is a pic of the damage.

Sorry to hear that man. Coincidentally my friend had the same thing happen to his '95 300zx on Sunday, execpt it was hit and run while his car was parked. He has found aftermarket fenders for $175, though I would recommend you scour junk yards for a factory piece that's already painted. IF you can find a part that matches, expect to pay $125-200 for the part, and maybe the labor is DIY, though I've never done it myself. Doesn't look like it touched the front fascia or hood at all, eh? Coulda been worse.
