Tear in leather seat...Help!

I just put a 3/4 inch tear in my rear driver side seat. I have a black interior (2004)....How should I repair?? Are those kits any good? Dealer? Leather shop?? Thanks for any help.

I had my old car (VW pasnot) replaced at an upholstery place for $300, they replaced the "fabric" as it was on an easily accessible part of the seat, not like the middle or anything where the whole piece would have needed to be replaced.

Is your rip on the driver's seat, near the plastic on the lower portion of the seat? Take a pic for us...

I have one too, mine is in the middle of the back seat. Was driving with the dog in the back and some a hole cut me off and I slammed the breaks
