they've added a few weapons for every class except for the engineer, which is what valve is working on right now.MinisterofDOOM wrote:TF2's a blast. I played it for a while right after it came out, but sort of forgot about it. I keep meaning to start playing it again but haven't yet. I'm sure it's a much different game now than when I played before. But I'm also sure it's probably easy to pick up and run with, so that probably won't matter much.
should've gotten it on pcccccccccccccccccc!Chaotic_Warlord wrote:Whenever I try to play anymore on the 360 the server can't find any active games, so I stopped looking.
sometimes i can play for a while, but there are times when i get bored and have to actually do homework instead of procrastinating, so i can understand what you're saying. however, it's nice to be able to just join a server, blow up some bishez and then disconnect after you get bored.ScorchedNX2K wrote:Hate it. That's WHY I like it. There's nothing wrong with a simpler game you can jump in and drop out of as you please. And anyway, the COD linearity comparison would work if the games played remotely alike. But they don't. TF2 characters are much more mobile than faceless soldier #378249 from COD4 multiplayer. TF2 doesn't play like COD4, so if you try to play it like COD4 you'll get gibbed.ScorchedNX2K wrote:At least in COD4 there are multiple paths to take and ample places to ambush or sneak up behind people. In TF2 you point your gun in one direction and wait for the bad guys to run by you. Or you get brave and run into another murder-hole.
At least that's what my experience was like. I'm sure If i had a clan to play with things would have been different.
That's the reason I played CS for so long (Since Beta 3) I had group after group of awesome people to play in CAL and such. Once those people stopped playing and our server bit it I stopped completely.
fo sho, being able to jump in and out of a game makes it more re-playable to me.MinisterofDOOM wrote: That's WHY I like it.
