hey everyone im gonna start setting up a turbo kit for my ka24de and i have a td04 turbo from a wrx. I know the flanges are totally different but im going to cut them off and weld some different ones on. My goal is not to make a high horsepower car but just have something with a better kick. My ultimate question is do you all think that the turbo is ok or would it be too small, its like i said im not looking at high horsepower i would be happy with something a little under 200 hp.

that turbo would work for your power goal but honestly it would be too much trouble to make it work. Why dont you look into a t25 setup (ughh I cant believe I just said that) and call it a day. Id sell the turbo and pick up an sr t25. they range from $150 to $250 used in good condition and are capable of 210-220whp with rediculous fast spool.

Like he said^

In some cases its cheaper to start over than to force what you already have to work
