I've read through pretty much every TDC thread in these forums and have not seen any pictures of TDC for KA24E, so here goes some. Only problem I have is Distributor is set at number 2 when my book says to set at number one. On the contrary the book shows a picture of the distributor at firing location #1 set on plug 2. I have the crankshaft pulley timing mark set at the second notch from the left(0 degrees). Also can someone verify that when piston #1 is up, you cant stick anything past the length of the spark plug?Sorry for the long post here are the pictures and thanks in advance.

remember that the motor has 2 tdc. take out sparkplug #1 and turn the crank around until you feel air comming out of the plug hole that how you know your on the compression stroke. or its still the same i say your distributor is 180* off and i think you need to take out the oil pump and dist. and re-set them correctly. please verify nistech.

It is dead on right now, look at the key way on the cam its straight up , the rotor is pointing at #1 and the crank is on tdc.
