Is there any truth to the suggestion that the TCS car has less HP than a regular car?

Thanks,

the short answer: No

the long answer: No, because it does not draw any power off the engine or anything like that.....

The extended bent dual throttle body might restrict the air flow by <1%, so to be safe let's answer yes, a very tiny bit less than 2-3 HP above 6,000 rpms.

The main advantage to the G50 TCS in my mind is you get true 4 channel ABS.

Wes,Thanks for the reply, if the unit itself is out, how much will the dealer charge to replace? As it is now, the lights just stay on all the time. Thanks,Greg

Your slip and TCS lights are on all the time??? Id check your relays.. Can you give us any history to this problem, like when did it start, and so forth.

I have this issue for many years now. The relays and the wiring harness have been worked on. I had the chip worked on by JCT Technologies in CA. At first the issue was intermittent but now just the lights on and the TCS not functional. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Youll want to check your TCS codes... Id suggest performaing a search.

Wes,You know...I'm really mechanically challenged and don't know what that means..how do I check the "tcs codes", and what is "performing a search"? Thanks for your response.
