Today when I was driving to work this light came on steady. I tried to turn it off with the button, but no dice. After I stopped at the grocery store and turned the key again, light was gone. Any ideas???

Usually a precursor to battery/alternator failure. Have both tested deep cycle/ under load.

Do check belts and pulleys first. It is so difficult to guess when maintenance schedule isn't included.
