Email me and I will send you one tomorrow afternoon. For the accel/decel enrich I have just kind of messed around until I found something that worked. I played with the warmup enrich by seeing how much fuel it needed to run cold (slowly turned it down until it wouldnt start properly) and then bumped it up a little and thats where I left it. Idles kinda rich when cold (12.5-13) and about 15:1 when hot. My air/fuel ratios are a little high when cruising, but im not running very much timing so its not like it knocks or anything.

ok i do appreciate it. Mine is like yours when cold, it does great at 13.8-14.4 but when it warms up I try to lean it out to about 15 something and it doesnt like it too much. Did you get your ve tables worked out pretty good before you started to mess with the warmup and accel/decel ?

Yeah, I tried to sort out the VE tables as much as possible beforehand. I still had to do some messing around with it when I messed with the accel/decel/warmup stuff though. I think the ca18 just doesnt like to run all that lean. It ran like a top when I was blasting around at 12:1. I mean, its an older turbocharged four, not one of these crazy new engines that runs like 17:1 when its not under load.

Like Ryan (Float) said dont try to do what you think might be right do what the motor wants.

So if your motor sucks at 15AFR but does nicely at 14 why you gonna try to force it?

Same thing with my motor, it didnt like 16AFR so we enriched it to whatever AFR it did like.

like TIM said settle your VE tables, dont think where it should be, have it where the motor runs the best. Than start messing with accel and warm up.

julian.. i noticed yours and tims ve maps are completely different than tims. i started working off tims because his setup was the closest to mine but im confused with them.

one question though. im using 880cc injectors. he's using 550s, i will need to remap the ve tables right? i changed the injector characteristics and my required fuel and such. anything else i need to do just to get it running.

i did make some afr target tables, i can just use a wideband with autotune eh?

Yeah but you'll want to get your map pretty spot on before you use a wideband to adjust automatically.

u adjust it until it gets to where u want.

The numbers are gonna be smaller becase 1ms pw on 550cc isnt the same as 1ms pw on 880cc.

So your numbers will most likely smaller than Tims.

Asking us how much to take off will do you nothing because we dont know.
