hello
I own a 2004 FX35, I changed the malfunctioning transmission TCM for a working used one, but now its showing U1000 DTC, and don't receive the RPM information and accel pedal from engine's ecu. The canbus line is working, I perform the DTC repair procedure for this and everything is ok, also is possible the connection with each module separately, so I dont think in canbus problem. I think could be a different software version, its possible to get an update file for TCM ???
Also on cluster dont appear AT CHECK light once ignition is on, and the AT INDICATOR is off

if someone has some info i will appreciate it.
thanks

UpFix claims to be able to reflash Nissan/Infiniti TCM's off the car, which I think is the only way you can get it done. I haven't used their service and don't know how reliable they are, but I don't think even a dealer can reflash your unit in situ. Nissan changed the "new blank" function in the Consult3+ so you can no longer use it on controllers which are already flashed, and the "reprogram" function will only update based on the wrong part number you already have in the car. The "new blank" trick was our old standby for changing wrong software, and I don't know of any workaround now that Nissan screwed it up. If you have an early version of C3+, that might work. Otherwise a send-out-and-return service is probably your only hope. Most of those shops can install a program based on your VIN and not the existing software number.
