94 N/A auto. At highway speeds, transmission shifts in/out of "overdrive" at steady throttle/straight road/flat ground. Not fully out of overdrive, however, because its only a 200 rpm difference, and when I click "overdrive off" on the shifter, it jumps up about 700 rpms. I asked the shop where I had it rebuilt and he said it was probably my Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid, a.k.a. "lockup solenoid". Anyone else have any experience with this?

Have no experience with tcc but isn't that part of the transmission that should of been looked at when it was rebuilt?Warranty?
Try doing a diagnostic

The rpm rising when OD is off sounds normal when you turn it off it is suppose to rise, the 200rmp change that you mention do you feel its the transmission causing that ? There are different reasons that might cause an rpm change.

Yes, I'm positive its the transmission. I honestly thought the car was misfiring at first, but noticed the rpm change when I was watching the tach. It's the same rpm change every "shift", and will sometimes hold it until I let off the gas completely and ease back on.

Ok, so I ran diagnostics... got 1 long flash then 10 short flashes.... "all good"

According to the write-up, I would get a code for TCC solenoid. So now I'm back to square 1. Anyone have any suggestions?

not specific to your car, but they still mentioned the TCC switch, maybe you should try cleaning it.. it may not throw a code unless its completely unfunctional
