Hey, for all you people out there without the Poly or Soild TC rod's from tein or Nismo you NEED to get these bushings. The differance is Phenomenal between stock ones and these poly's I highly recomend them if you like to do anything other than stright line stuffs. http://www.courtesyparts.com/ Sells them for the S14 works fine for the S13 too. Can't beat it for the price go get yours today!

Only downside I can think of is install, of getting out the old bushings and putting these in. If you have NO CHANCE of getting to a hydrolic press then I would go to PDMracing and get the ones already pressed it. It will cost more though, Thanks to the guys at Secret Sevices once again for letting me use the Hydrolic press and pressing these things in.

What happens to my lower control arms when I change the TC rods?

Look over in the FA forums. Apparently when you change to a harder bushing (not a spherical, so the adjustable ones like Tein, Border, Jic, ect are OK), your LCA goes through too much stress and can crack...and IIRC, Tampa roads suck.

SOB oh well if it does ill see what happens. I hear the Spherical ones are harsh, but if that stops cracking then ill have to look into it. What if I change to poly bushings on the LCA?

 Don't really know what would happen...probably nothing.

I can tell you from first hand that the adjustable tension rods that I have (spl, but they should all be basically the same) are not harsh. Just feels like more feedback...it's not bad, really.

wow that is suprisingly scary. can anyone offer any more info on that subject? is it possible to get performance grade LCA's? or are the adjustable TC rods enough to clear this problem. ive seen the nismo non adjustable, i was thinking of this one since its a comprimise between factory and race, ive also looked at spl and jic (jic calls it a pillow tension rod, any different?)

also, just curious why they were called bushings a few times, am i not thinking of the right part, or is this just another name for it?

One thing to keep in mind about that link that I sent is that he installed those parts into (what I believe) is a 1970ish car. The parts are those cars may not be as strong as the newer parts and definitely have more wear and tear on them, simply from the age.

The 240sx rods may never break with the polyurethane bushings.

Oh yeah, in my opinion, drilling into polyurethane bushings might not be the brightest idea in the world. Although, I guess the bushing breaking is safer then having the rod break.
