Hey guys what's the best way to remove that stubborn bolt that holds the t/c rod assembly to the front frame brace ( looks like a fork)? I have an air compressor and impact wrench, but am hesitant to use it. Also, it looks like the bushing is under stress while connected to the brace- I was concerned about it giving me problems when I put the t/c rod assembly back on. Any insights on this?:help

sorry...i just took off my tc rod and didn't have a problem. You're talking about one of the 14mm's right....? if i recall correctly....I had trouble with it. WD40 and a breaker bar...that's the only advice i can give. The breaker bar really works...for me anyway.

Hey thanks for replaying! the bolt i was referring to was the big 17mm one. I guess there's no special way of approaching it besides brute force huh?

Use two wrenches... one on each end. Works best... also try some lube like WD40 on it.
