Ok I have a throttle body spacer from my 02 Nissan SpecV and was wondering if it would fit on the my coupe that also has the QR25DE motor. Before I sell the TBS I want to see if it fits the new QR motor. Anybody have an idea? I know I could just try it out but don't feel like going through that if someone can shed some light on my question. Thanks!

I don't know specific specifications between this generation of the QR and the older ones but there could be minor differences, perhaps on the diameter of the throttle body etc. Can't hurt to try though.

Yeah but if you do the test fit, and take pics and make a write up out of it, you become cool, and elite, lol... Seriously though, if you do, S_C, will hook you up, and the rest of the coupe owners would appreciate you for it, and you could let us know if it has any +/- for the coupe.

When I get a chance I'll match it up and see if it fits

Did you actually notice a difference? In my opinion, it's a big waste of $100. They supposedly "spin" the incoming air, boosting velocity into the combustion chamber.

My favorite claim is the intake manifold spacer and that it "cools" the intake charge, thus, increasing horsepower. Heh, if I dyno could tell a difference, it wouldn't be because of that part.

However, I have read in several places that claim the intake plenum on the QR25 is too small for that motor and I might have to agree with that. At least for a turbocharged application, the plenum is supposed to be 2X the engine displacement for best air distribution without slowing the air too much and heat soaking inside of it. I don't think the intake is bigger than a 2L bottle of soda.

TB spacers do nothing, a lot of people tried them on their Titans and basically the only thing it did was provide an annoying noise

Honestly I noticed a slight difference in my specV with it, but nothing like HOLLY SH*T! I'm just gonna sell it, just figured I'd ask

Yes, I think that would be your best option. And if I remember correctly, weren't you planning on buying an intake? If so, even more so the TBS would be useless.
