This week sucks. From my earlier post, some of you may know I was in a small fender bender Wednesday.

Tonight, on the way home from a car meet, some lovely person dropped a satellite dish out the back of their pickup in front of me. I swerved, but clipped it on my right front tire. Shredded the tire, bent my rim, and knocked the turn signal off the bumper. Fortunately the turn signal snapped back in. This bad luck streak has to end soon. According to Discount Tires This will run me $118 just for the rim and tire. Plus I am guaranteed to need an alignment now.

On the plus side I have interview twice with Texas Instruments, which is a good sign. My first interview went fairly poor, but the difference between the first and second was night and day. I am going to contact the interviewer to say thank you and asked if they discussed new hires yet (they are hiring a bunch of new people from a pool of new grads) as they said they would this week.

Sorry for the rant. I am hopping mad right now, and I needed to gripe about that, and end it on a positive note so I don't get more enraged.

The person who dropped the dish isn't going to pay for the damages?

Never found the person, they left. The more I think of it, the less I am sure that it was the pickup I saw. Mostly I was confused trying to figure out what the hell it was on the road.

At first I thought it was a plastic bag in the distance. Then I thought it was a rubbermaid trashcan. Started to swerve to miss it, then realised it was a satellite dish. Clipped it on with the front right wheel.

Yeah, I contacted a local company today, they are interested in my application. If I get this job, I would be working on Toll Tags.

look on the bright side. Some cump is at home touching himself to a JC Penny catalog because his dish hit the street and he can't get his naughty channels. Good luck with the job!

Oh, I am kicking myself for not going back and grabbing the dish. If it could be made to work, I would be one step closer to hacking free satellite

In case anyone cares, grade #1 of my final 3 courses is back. Senior Design Project: A (4.0)

Hey man, that is a bummer run of bad luck, you should shop around on nico and zilvia's for sale sections, you can find entire sets of wheels for 118 bucks, if your timing is right.

Two interviews is definitely a good sign, especially if you felt good after the second one, and you're getting A's in classes.. Keep your chin up, I finally landed a new job last week after a year+ of interviewing.. Once you get this job, you'll fix your car in no time and you'll be laughing.

I tell you some truck operators should be dipped on steak sauce and fed to a pack of hungry pit bulls...I see it all the time, people with large objects hanging and bouncin everywhere on their trucks cab unsecured....one time this dude on a maintenance truck full of generator batteries, takes turn at high speed into main highway, 5 batteries (big ones..) come out flying and landed on the road, luckily nobody hit them... not too much traffic being lower Alabama. But is amazing how unsafe people can be...
