Everyone I've ever known (including myself) that's ever owned a convertible or a car with T-Tops with over 100k miles on it has had problems with leaks, frame distortion, the t-tops flying off (alright, so maybe that's human error

), or some other weird problem as a result. IMNSHO, don't buy a convertible or t-top unless all the models are engineered that way (someday I'll own a Lotus . . . someday, you all and see! ahahaah :alcoholic ). The one person I know that's had a good experience was one of my co-workers who owned a Z31 NA w/ t-tops.
