Tapping under the hood wile car is idel help!

wile my car is idel there is a suttel tapping coming from under my hood. it sounds like its coming from the front of the block near the top. almost like were the rockers are or the cams or timeing belt. if any one knows excatly what it is nd how to fix it that would be great thanks

no i havent yet? would that be it or could it be my timing is a lil off?

Sounds like the timeing chain guide. There is one at the top, which is easy to remove. The second one is in the middle, and it is a little more difficult to remove, but not that hard. There is a write up on here on how to do it.
