the hole problem was my coil went out and i replaced it with an accel one. so i started my car and it started ticking. it never had did this before.. so i bought a ka24e off a freind and swaped heads from my car...so i just finished today and i started it and the ticking is louder. so i swaped out my rocker arms and it still ticks. i don't know what to do. some one please help, i think its time for an SR... i would also would like to know how to time my car , like where to set the cam gear and such, thanks...

i checked the timing and it was perfect went to take it for a ride it runs like ****, white smoke, stutters.... i duno anymore, someone help

Also.. Just grasping here.. But ticking could also be an electrical ticking.. like a plug wire arching. That could cause a cylinder not to fire.. causing it to run real rough.. also pumping unburned fule out causing white smoke.

well i double checked everything and i gunna swap my dizzy with another one. maybe thats the problem. thanks man..

well i checked my timing and it was good so i drive the car and the ticking went away and it runs like a dream now. i think i just had to pump more oil into the rockers. i have no idea. o yea and i replaced the dizzy cap and rotor....
