tapping lifter

i just changed the head on my sentra ser and i didnt change the lifters is there any way to get them to stop or do i have to change them i thought that it was just cuz they didnt have oil to them yet but there still doing it

well, if the lifters or head were turned upside down you most likely need to bleed them...
