Today I started my car and put it in drive, It acted like it did not wanna move. It revved up but as it revved it started very slow and gradually gained speed.

After it had warmed up, it would not shift into 3rd or 4th/OD. I noticed it was stuck in second so I could put it into 1st but it would "Jam" into first then back into seconds as I changed gears.

Reverse works normal, shifts into R and D like it normally would. I noticed I had No trans fluid in at all. I put in 1qt but have not made it to the store to get more since power is out.

Am I looking at another big trans problem? or after putting fluid in will it be normal hopefully?

Please dont flame I am just looking for reassurance. Its an Automatic.

Dont feel to bad I am having almost the same problem. Mine will run great when it's cold but it slips alot when accelerating. I can reach 6,500 rpm befor shifting to the next gear. but when it warms up it gets very sluggish and will accel and hesitate repetedly. until reaching about 35 and being in 3rd gear will cruise somewhat ok.

idling at a red light in any drive gear the RPMs bounce between 725 to 775 and will go up to 1000 for a few seconds. the whole while the car trys to lunge forward so I just put it in nuetral but the rpms still bounce around.

my AT is full of fluid every time I check it but it's a light brown color and very clear. everyone say's it's burnt transmission fluid but I'm still not 100% sure it is. and they also say my tourqe converter is going out or already did.

I am about to fix it by puting an MT 5spd in it when I get a ka24de for my car.

I hope you dont have to go that far to get yours straightened out.

Ur Syrchnos are probably going out bc of no oil. I would just find a new transmission.
