i am wanting to buy a new set of wheels. and prob going a diff size and offset. Wanting to see what size of wheels people are running with the seven's? the reason i ask is i had the exact set of wheels on with my tein flex's and they fit with no problem, then i got the Sevens and needed to put a 5mm spacer in order to clear the front struts.

You answered your question. Whatever your wheel's current offset is w/ the 5mm spacer is the minimal you can run in front (inner clearance wise)... Outside/fender clearance just add/subtract as necessary by either looking @ your car & seeing how much further you want to go out & how much more camber you are willing to run, etc.

The size wheels people run usually have very little to do w/ the coilovers, but more to do with how much fender modification they have done. There are several wheel fitment threads here & other forums for referencing.

So what's the question? As onosqv said, just do some simple math if the wheels are different sizes. Not really difficult.......

Crappy stock wheels fit, I can tell you that!

I hope somebody chimes in because I'm curious for the future. It's rare for S-chassis owners to have these coils though.

Are you guys that lazy that you can't figure it out by comparing your current (stock or whatever) wheels to whatever you want to run & see how much more inside & outside clearances you have?

Wheels & Tires section, plus [url=http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp]Wheel Offset Calculator], plus a tape measure for your own car to see how much clearance you have, and you're done. That's how I fit my wheels, it took me about 15 minutes to figure out approximately what I can run, if that.

Yes, it's true that coilovers fit differently depending on the brand; however, you should realize that your camber (and whether you set it up w/ the camber plates and/or camber bolts) and potentially other things such as frame condition, tire size, whether you have stock body or rolled fenders or wide fenders etc - all affect your own clearances, even w/ the same exact model coilovers compared to another car.

haha simmer down.i know how to figure out offset and wheels size. when your spending alot of money on just wheels and putting on wheels on that you dont have alot of clearences 18 by 9.5 in front (you kind of want another opinon. lazy no, i am not. but thanks for ... nothing.
