My friend and I ordred these coilovers.... actually he ordered his 5months ago and I ordered mine 2 months ago. And they both arrived w/ the same shippment.. now isn't that wonderful. I actually took Tanabe's very own demo unit they were going to use.

If you want these coilovers. Expect 3months minimum for them to come in.

These are all camera phone pictures....sorry for the quality.

But you gotta see these in person. They look insane from material to construction.

I will be installing these hopefully sometime next week so stay tuned. I'll let you guys know how they are.

BTW... just wondering who else has these?

where did you get these from?? any reason you chose these over the 'standard' JIC and teins??

Well, from my perspective it wasn't so much as how they over-emphasized "professionl Bai tested" but moreover as an overview of the company itself. Tanabe isn't a small company at all... they compete heads on with HKS, Tein, JIC/Zeal etc. From talking to many people with different coilovers, they all had their problems. Not saying that tanabe doesn't have any but things that pushed me away from others. Quality of product, valving issues, no dust boot, support etc.

Tanabe reached all those qualities in my eyes where as other companies did not. They make many of the products in their own facility. They have a SEVEN digit$$ spring maker whereas other companies don't. They feature KYB shocks which many US companies strive to get but arn't sucessful because KYB doesn't think their affiliation with them arn't good enough.

Tanabe hasn't had alot of products for the 240 in the past but if you were a Honda boy in the past and had a civic..... Tanabe would be a dream product to you =)

Theres alot of stuff i'm leaving out right now but i'm working.. Ta ta

^^ WHAT?? I wanted to get those but I thought the ride would be to harsh for the everyday. Are they installed yet? Are there pilow mounts at all four corners , or just the front. I'm trying to justify the price.

When you get them install....please remember to post how they feel and such. I am interested in getting them sometime in the future but lead towards JIC because of all the good comments. Hopefully you can influence me cause I hardly hear of people having Tanabe coilovers on their car.

Pillow mounts are at all four corners. Front have camber plates of course. Solid construction. And no they arn't installed yet. I'm dealing with my rb20 240 and trying to get things worked out with it. I might consider selling it so I might not install the coilovers. If i don't install it.......it definatelly going to be sold. They are worth the price.

How much did you get them for.

$1800

I was glad to pay this... because even though paying close to msrp I got these coilovers months sooner than I should have.

I'm satisfied for the amount I paid but I think I'll be more happy with them installed =)
