Got your order and will getting them out the door to you.....the car will ride just a tad stiffer like some of the other vehicles that I own....I like to call it a "Controlled Ride" LOL! And check out the pictures on my website to see how it looks cornering......yes, you'll have a lot more fun with it and even with regular driving it won't feel so "lost" on the road you'll get what I mean when you get them installed. Do you have a strut bar? If not you might think about it and if you do with the spring combo.Mile High Versa wrote:Just bought some Tanabe lowering springs today off Versaspeed. This will be the last purchase I'll make for a while. Afterwards, I'm going full out with the mods like.
What does the ride feel like compared to stock? Does the car not lean and can you turn sharp corners much faster? Is it more sporty?
Send me some too. As long as Mile High is paying.versaspeed.com wrote:

The Versa is a really stiff chassis and you really don't need the sway bars like in the 240SX (my race car is a 240) and early cars again when we went up against Roll Caged-Coil Over Sentra SE-R's we were right with them time wise and pictures were posted on the website to see the difference....the Versa really doesn't really need a whole lot to make it handle well.....Strut Bar...Lowering Springs and the Adjustable shocks and your good to go.......and I've got the pictures and times to prove it.biggie wrote:^True, but Springs make up most of the stiffness. Should be more stiff, lower, and therefore should sway less. Bigger antisway in front and adding one in rear would also improve that.
I would imagine the addition of the rear sway would have to help though. I can't really make a decision on it though, I've never pushed the Versa at all and being completely stock. And being use to 240s, including my coupe which when I sit on the front corner the spring doesn't compress.versaspeed.com wrote:

I give you a little hint on how this thing handles.....I told one of my crew that works on my Race Car to come on out and drive the thing because you wouldn't believe how well it handles..he is/was ant-FWD..well after taking it out at the track and I quote "This thing handles like the Race Car" and now is thinking of buying one and fixing it up again this can be backed up by the locals here......you really don't need to add anything more.....you can and I'm sure it would help a little bit but "I don't think" enough to worry about. Just my two cents.biggie wrote:I would imagine the addition of the rear sway would have to help though. All cars are not built the same, nor do they behave the same. If chassis is stiff, suspension balance is correct (spring rates and shock damping rates), there is really no need for sway bars. Sway bars are a cheap way to correct sloppy tuning. Some cars actually handle better with sway bar removed after some suspension upgrades. It's the marketing that make you think you need every thing made under the sun.biggie wrote:I would imagine the addition of the rear sway would have to help though.
