For those of you using the Tanabe springs, are u guys using camber bolts to straighten it out. Just curious.

I'm planning on using the tanabe springs, tanabe strut bar and slap on a set of Sportmax 501s in gunmetal w/ 205/60/15 tires.

I just bought this car last week. S model in MG color. Fun commuter but drives really tall in my opinion. Has great potential to handle really well once the suspension is manipulated some.

Springs are probably the easy (and more economical) fix... however, I think the inherent problem is the skinny and tall stock tires. Pressed hard I think the tires will be rolling onto their sidewalls before the stock springs or shocks break a sweat.

To answer the question: To my knowledge they do not make camber bolts for the Versa yet, however the stock adjustment is enough to correct the camber after the springs are installed.

Thanks for the replies and the welcome.

I'm a noob to this forum, but not to cars. Oh, I'm definitely getting an alignment.

I found some camber bolts that corrects 1.5 deg +/- to the front struts. Camber bolts aren't truly specific to model of vehicle, but to the size of the strut bolts. Most bolts are pretty standard in size, so they work for most vehicles.

I like the "old school" wheels alot, especially on these types of cars.I should have the wheels or springs within a few weeks or so. I just had shoulder surgery last Friday, big reason I own a Versa now.

As for the tires, yeah the 205/60 will probably sidewall flex still but I'm just commuting. I'll leave the time attack driving to you guys!

Which camber bolts work then? And where'd you find them? Would be good info to have, especially for anyone on a lower coilover setup.

Thanks

tirerack.com has the 1.75 degree camber bolts for $26.00/pair. use only one of the bolts per side.
