Hey fellow Niconauts! I finally got to install my Y-pipe now that I'm home in California, so here's a video (And I think I'm the first posted video of the Tanabe Medalion/Y-Pipe Combo). New video posted, make sure you turn up the volume!

It's a little too raspy for me at the peak of the rev. But the build up sounds nice!

I have always wondered what the Tanabe exhaust paired w/ the y-pipe would sound like. Seems like it would sound a bit better when the car is warmed up and the y-pipe is broken in. Thanks for taking your time and posting up a video.

the butt dyno can definitely feel the increase in power, and I actually like the way it sounds now better than before. It's a fair amount louder than the tanabe by itself and a lot deeper than the video gives it credit for. I'll see if i can get another video later with a better camera.

So I shot a new video for anyone interested since the first video doesn't really capture the sound properly. This new one is a bit better and you can definitely hear the deeper tones. Also, my car was warmed up for this recording (I had just driven it home from school) and the y-pipe has been broken in (been daily driving it for about a month now). The new video is posted up at the top of the thread.

dude it sounds and looks really good. you don't happen to know where I can find some 4 inch tips like those??? I got a custom exhaust done to my coupe and I love the way it sounds, but I don't really like the tips (they look just like the stock tips, just a tad bit bigger)

the Tanabe exhaust has 100mm tips.. equal to 3.9" so might as well be 4".

sounds good though man.
