check this exhaust out: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/exhausts/files/273_img2.jpg

How much horsepower can i expect to get on this exhaust? I see that Tanabe advertises this exhaust to be below 93db. Does this mean that the performance is not as great as a much louder exhaust?

This looks ok but you might want to look at a TRUE dual system instead, like Stillen. The db level does not equate to the performance level of a system. A lot of noise does not mean more HP or torque, just noise. Do a search on here and you will find a lot of good info on what owners like.

the sport z magazine exhaust shootout's highest hp gain was form the borla which yielded 8.2 hp gain over stock with 88db idle and 92db at 3k rpmhttp://www.stillen.com/media_f...7.pdf

Good info and never saw this before. Really glad I got the Stillen now. Only .1 (tenth) less HP than Borla but the best in torque by far over all, which is more important. Info says Borla has a lot of pieces and hard to install too. I am surprised Stillen does not play on this comparison as an ad with their web site. The others look really bad especially that ziggen wiggen or what ever its called!!
